The CH2M Polar Services (CPS) team will be kicking around Alaska, Greenland, Russia, the North Pole and more locations through 2020, thanks to excellent performance on an existing National Science Foundation (NSF) contract.
Earning very good performance evaluations, the CPS team earned additional program years on the contract, extending the work through 2020. CPS provides support services to enable funded research projects to access field sites, facilities, infrastructure, and related services to accomplish research goals. Since 1999, the team has supported more than 1,000 scientists at field sites on land and sea all over the Arctic.
“The results of the performance evaluation and the subsequent award of Program Years 7 and 8 are a testament to the great work our employees are putting forth for the National Science Foundation,” said Jeff Mervin, OM services global operations director, facilities transportation and energy.
