The CH2M HILL Alumni Association!

Yes! We Alumni are incorporated as an “all-volunteer” nonprofit Alumni Association. You can read all about why and how this happened at About CHAA.

The purpose of the Association is to preserve and maintain the relationships and friendships built during our association with CH2M HILL and sustain the company’s vision to Build a Better World. To achieve this, we will maintain a roster of CH2M HILL alumni, publish a periodic newsletter, convene periodic reunions, and maintain and continue to build the Alumni History of CH2M HILL website.

Membership in the Association is open to any former employee of CH2M HILL or its acquired CH2M HILL Companies, Ltd. – those still working for Jacobs or other companies or those now retired – as well as friends of university, client, and contractor affiliates of CH2M HILL or its acquired CH2M HILL Companies, Ltd. A complementary membership is granted to spouses of alum who have passed.

Membership gives you access to the Members’ Corner tab. This tab contains the two most recent newsletters and access to the Alumni Roster with their email address (where available) for those who might want to catch up with a colleague. In addition, thanks to Jacobs, we have recently added a copy of the updated and colorful 352-page edition of Building a Better World, the story of CH2M. If you do not opt for membership you will still have access to all other tabs of the website; and, if you are listed in the Roster with an email address, you will continue to receive emails announcing major activities of the Association.

In the early years, the firm provided modest in-kind and financial support for all the foregoing services; however, this support is no longer provided. We must now look to you, our fellow alums, to support the Association activities – membership dues and donations are our only source of funding. Although we have no paid employees, keeping the website live and updated, publishing newsletters, and other activities do have associated costs. The Board of Directors approved dues options for Standard Memberships back in 2018 and in January 2025 approved a new “Value Partner” membership option. The Board also encourages donations to help defray ongoing operational costs. Dues and donations are used to continue updates and upgrades for our Association website (accessibility, content, security, and enjoyment), continue a member outreach program, help promote local member groups, and for other Association activities. Dues and donations are not used to fund alumni reunion events – these events are funded by attendees.

New members need to JOIN and create an account (see Join/Renew User Guide).

If you would like to Join via PayPal, use the JOIN button below and select the “PayPal” payment option. Once you have made a payment, you will have immediate access to Members’ Corner. If you select Auto Renew, future dues payment will automatically occur on the anniversary of this payment. Otherwise, you will receive an email on the anniversary reminding you that renewal is due.

If you would like to Join, via check, please use the JOIN button below and select the “Manual/Offline” payment option. There will be a slight delay while your treasurer awaits your check and then confirms your registration. You will then receive an email confirming activation. You can then log back in and you will have full access to Members’ Corner. Payment checks should be mailed to:

New Vision Partner Membership

Existing members may renew as a Vision Partner using the links in the following table (new members can also select a Vision Partner Membership in lieu of a Standard Membership if desired – email the Treasurer for instructions).

Vision Partner members share a commitment to the vision of CHAA and CH2M HILL and are able to contribute to the Association on an ongoing higher level. Please consider becoming a Vision Partner and use the links in the following table to set up convenient Monthly or Annual recuring payments.
