Several of Gene’s projects have won prestigious engineering awards including a Presidential Citation for Engineering Excellence from President Nixon in 1972 for his pioneering work on the Lake Tahoe Project. Gene also authored two engineering textbooks; “Project Management,” the book used for training CH2M HILL project managers; and more than 50 technical papers published in publications of engineering societies, the EPA, and Canada Environment.
Gene currently serves as the Chairman of the Building Committee of St. John’s Catholic Church and is involved in the building of the new Elizabeth Ann Seaton High School in Ridgefield, Washington.
