Founded in 1916, the Florida Engineering Society (FES) celebrated 100 years of engineering excellence at its annual conference, held August 4 to 6, 2016.  During the event, nine “Engineering Projects of the Century” were displayed, exemplifying the long-term engineering solutions that provide clean water, electricity, transportation, as well as demonstrating engineering excellence in their local communities.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) selected the Tampa Bay Water Regional Reservoir Renovation Program as one of its projects of the century; CH2M was the design criteria professional for this renovation program.  The CH2M team stood with FDEP and Tampa Bay Water to receive an Engineering Project of the Century plaque during the FES Centennial Celebration.
