Based on staff input, Bob Bergman, VP and WBG Technology Fellow, received GNV’s 7th Annual Engineering Quality Advancement Award during Engineers Week. Bob has been with the firm for 29 years, is widely known in the water industry, and was recognized for his long-time service in the development and implementation of membrane and desalination technology for water treatment.
Bob has been inducted into the Global Water Intelligence Museum of Desalination’s Hall of Fame. He also received the 2012 American Water Works Association Golden Spigot Award for his contributions to the technology, and the American Membrane Technology Association 2012 Presidential Award in recognition of his substantial contributions to the growth and development of the association and its purpose.
“Bob’s a great example of the heritage and culture of the Gainesville office,” said Area Manager Bill McElroy. “In addition to his proven technology credentials, he’s been a good mentor, project manager, and colleague to others….and a good Gator booster as well.”
