I hold fond memories of the remarkable consulting engineering firm that employed me most of the years of my engineering career. These memories are mostly of the people who were very much part of the success of the company that started with four engineers and grew up to be one of the largest and most respected engineering firms in the U.S. in the span of one career.
The partners who started the firm well understood the need for teamwork and put it into their practice … partly it seems to me because that was their makeup; and some of it was due to their wartime experiences where everyone depended on the people around and behind them. This has been an escalator ride up in almost every respect. I am proud to have been part of a great experience and a great team.
