After 12 years with CH2M, Mark Glidden/DEN, Client Service Manager, retired on March 20th. Mark made a lasting impact on the industry and his coworkers. Mark’s last day with CH2M was Friday, March 20.
Throughout his career, Mark contributed to numerous projects, providing stormwater services, master planning, watershed planning, hydraulic modeling services, and more to CH2M clients, including serving as Manager of Hydraulic Modeling Tasks for California’s Department of Water Resources. In this role, Mark was responsible for overseeing eight teams of CH2M staff and subconsultants on model development for analyses of flood hydraulics for the Upper Sacramento River System.
Mark built strong relationships with many clients in Denver and throughout the metropolitan area, providing valuable expertise on projects such as the South Boulder Creek Flood Mapping Study and Flood Mitigation Planning Study, Utah Park’s Stormwater Improvements, and Castle Rock’s Mitchell Gulch Drainage Master Plan, to name a few.
Mark was recently recognized by a local client, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), for his dedication to the Denver-area stormwater market, earning UDFCD’s Friend of the District award. This award is presented to key individuals who have made significant contributions to the stormwater and flood management industry, and reflects Mark’s exceptional client-centric mindset.
